84 Madison Teachers Submitted Fraudulent Sick Notes To Protest

The Madison school district held off releasing the number of teachers until after April 15th - this was the deadline to resind their absence excuses - 46 resinded their excuses.
What became of the 38 the did not?  They were suspended but the actual protest absence was considered time served.
It remains my opinion that they should have been fired!

WISCONSIN OPEN GOVERNMENT WEBSITE

It took the initiative of the MacIver Institute to start a website that will allow the taxpayer to to find financial info on public employees.
All of this information is public record and if you search hard enough you can find this on the Internet - it would appear that someone took it upon themselves to make this information user friendly and put it all in one place.
This link is now on the left hand side of http://www.wearewigovernment.blogspot.com/

The WI Fraud Known As Foodshare

Here is just some of the fraud going on with the WI Foodshare program:

Sell their Quest cards for cash.
Trade them for drugs.
Sell the food to friends at a discount to get cash.
Use their Quest cards in exchange for cash - completing the deal in the parking lot and pocketing $50 for every $100 they spend in Quest funds.
33 prison inmates who either improperly received FoodShare benefits themselves or were improperly listed as living with someone else who did.

In 2010:
Nearly 2,000 FoodShare recipients reported losing their Quest card six or more times.
60 recipients had the cards replaced 12 or more times.
Federal rules require that a lost card must be immediately replaced and as you can probably tell - investigating these "lost cards" is not a high priority.

As is the case with all government programs - corruption and fraud are rampant.

Paul Ryan Booed At Listening Session

Paul Ryan was booed at a listening session he held in Milton WI.  The thing I don't understand is what part of if you are over the age of 55 nothing changes for you........don't worry baby boomers you won't loose your entitlements.  I will give up my entitlement so that you can keep yours.

Kloppenburg Asked If She Believes She Won The Election

It was an unusual and uncomfortable silence - unless you are a conservative.  At least her campaign agreed with justice Prosser to only recount 31 counties - the counties with older voting machines.

Union Supporter Heckles 14 Year Old Girl Giving Speech

Freedom of speech is only a right when you agree with the Liberals.  You have to admit it isn't everyone that can throw f-bombs and the finger at a 14 year old girl reading an essay at a Tea Party rally.  He does it with such enthusiasm.

Koch Industries Sent Out Voting Information To Employees

An article posted on The Nation tells how Koch Industries sent out voting information, instructions on who to vote for and the consequences for disobeying orders.
The last time I voted there wasn't anyone looking at who I voted for.  If the article is true than my advice to the employees of Koch Industries would be to quit and work for someone else or lie to the old boys and tell them you voted exactly the way they wanted you to.
The last time I checked out the list of the biggest political donors - it has been topped by unions.  I know for a fact that unions tell their members who they should vote for and use intimidation to get people to do their will.  I guess the Koch brothers are evening the political playing field.

Question To Gov. Walker - Why Do You Hate Education?

Kloppenburg Wants A Recount

If there were any stragglers out there that believed Kloppenburg was a legitimate candidate for WI Supreme Court and not in the pocket of the union - after today's statement - you should now have your feet firmly placed in reality.  I would have posted a video of her recount request but I can't stand listening to her so I exercised my right as the blog writer to abstain.
She was not a qualified candidate so what platform did she run on?  She politicized the race and she would be the voice of the working family.  If you needed any more proof that she was and is in the pocket of the big unions you need to look no further that her requesting a recount at the taxpayer's expense.
I read an article, written before today's recount request, that says this recount could cost the taxpayers of WI more than $1 million.  Just another example of the Liberals losing then holding their collective breath and throwing a tantrum..........pathetic.
I do not have the link to the article now but I will place it in the comments section.

Journal Sentinal Reports That Prosser Gains 7500 Votes

It would appear that the ballotts from the city of Brookfield were not counted. I am very interested to hear this story develop.

Katherine Windels Admits To Sending Death Threat Emails To Republicans

The DA has finally decided to press charges against Katherine Windels for sending death threat emails to the Republicans after the budget repair bill vote.
The are several interesting things about this case.
She was not arrested and is still not in custody.
She admitted to sending the emails.
She teaches preschool children at the Red Caboose.
This is not her first unstable action that has gotten her in trouble with law (well if you call nothing being done by law enforcement - in trouble with the law)
I would be willing to bet that the teachers union (I have no idea if she is a member) will be very willing to fund her defense - if it ever goes to trial.
