Protesters Disrespect War Memorial

Look here at the youth of America showing what they think of past generations.  Is this surprising?  Today's youth have been told that they can do whatever they want.
What are the odds that a friend would ask if I have been to see the war memorial at the capital?  I wonder if he has seen it lately?

WI Dem Threatens Female Republican Rep. After Assembly Vote

Here we have a rising star in the Democratic Party - Gordon Hintz - after the Assembly voted on the bugdet repair bill he threatened R-Rep Michelle Litjens.  That isn't even my reason for giving him the rising star status for the Democratic Party - he was arrested earlier in the week for sexual misconduct in a prostitution sting.
Hell - for the Dems this guy is presidential material already!

Unions Vs Right To Work

Robert Barro - an economics professor at Harvard - writes a good article running in the Wall Street Journal today.  If the state of WI can get past this first hurdle the next piece of legislation should be right to work.

Have You Wondered Why The Teachers Don't Want To Give Up Collective Bargaining?

This is what the WI teachers have achieved - all through collective bargaining.  Hell - if past administrations allowed me to get this out of the taxpayers - I wouldn't want to give it up either.

The Effects Of Teachers Unions On American Education

Andrew J Coulson wrote a paper on The Effects Of Teachers Unions On American Education that ran in the CATO Institute Winter Journal 2010.
I can simpathize with those that don't want to read a 16 page paper with a ton of statistics in it - so if you go to page 12 you can see the summary of his findings.  I do suggest you at least glance at the paper to see the staggering amount of money the NEA & AFT have spent on maintaining their political power.

Taxeaters

If I may suggest reading this article - Moment of Clarity - by Tim Nerenz

Rockford IL Capitalizing On WI Democrat Derelicts

I have been to Rockford (unfortunately many times) and wouldn't care if I never make it back but you have to give them props for this ad.  Maybe the city is better if you can do the town on the taxpayer's dime.

What Did The Poster Child For Big Government - FDR - Think Of Publilc Sector Unions

Warning to all big government Liberals out there - if you read this letter from FDR to Mr. Steward you may have to take down that shrine to FDR.
112 - Letter on the Resolution of Federation of Federal Employees Against Strikes in Federal Service

Who Protects Your Working Rights? The Unions?

No - the unions do not protect the worker's rights.  All you have to do is watch the previously posted video to find out that the unions are all about political power.  Who is entrusted with protecting the rights of the working class?  It would be the Department of Labor.
The Department of Labor was created in 1913 by the father of socialism in this country - Woodrow Wilson.  So - what have we learned here today?  All you union backers have to do is put your trust in the federal government and they will take care of you.
Oh - that's as long as they are done ensuring that the illegals in this country are getting paid a fair wage.

Walker Phone Pranked Part 2

Walker Phone Pranked Part 1

Koch Brothers Open Lobbying Office In Madison

The billionaire Koch brothers opened a lobbying office in downtown Madison.  It would be the timing of the office opening that has the old "stink-o-meter" red lining.  They opened the Madison office 2 days after Governor Walker was sworn in.
There is a little talked about provision in the budget repair bill that would allow the state government to sell off state owned power plants in no-bid contracts.  This would mean that the Koch Bros Industries would be able (along with any other private sector company) to buy power plants from the state.
If there are is any evidence of any favoritism or under the table dealings going on - then the governor should be investigated and charged with something.

WI Assembly Passes Budget Repair Bill

After 59 hours of debate the WI Assembly passed the budget repair bill to the dismay of the Democrats.  The bill now goes to the Senate where the 14 derelicts are still MIA.

MATC Part-time Teachers Union Looking For Contract Signing

You know - I keep hearing the government unions gums flapping about how willing they are to take the concessions on healthcare and pensions but their actions don't support that claim.
Hell - the union leader for part-time teachers is even willing to drop a lawsuit against the school to get the thing signed.

Look Who Tops The Lobbyist List On This Bill

Now the Liberals want you to believe that it is the Koch brothers playing the puppet master.  What do you think?  Do you think it is the Koch Brothers?
You would be wrong!

WI Protesters Version Of Freedom Of Speech

Here is an example of Liberal free speech.  Fox News attempted to interview MI's Brett Healy about the fraudulent doctor's excuses being handed out to government union employees but the Liberal protesters would have none of that nonsense.
Apparently - you only have the right to the freedom of speech if the union gives it to you.

It's All About The Kids - Really?

I would have a little respect for the government unions if they would just tell the public it is about power and money.

Democrats Have To Go To Senate Floor To Get Paid

On Tuesday, the state senate changed the law so if a member of the Senate misses 2 straight sessions they can no longer have their checks directly deposited into their bank accounts.  They have to come to the floor of the Senate to get them from the majority leader.  Nice move but y question is - why and the hell are they getting paid at all?!!!

WI $137 Million Deficit Real or Union Buster?

I stumbled on this story because of all the press from Rachel Maddow's claim that WI will have a surplus this year.  So I go back to the headline is the deficit real or just an excuse for Walker to bust the unions?  According to Politifact the WI $137million deficit is real and it is not being caused by Walker's corporate tax cuts.
I don't watch Maddow, Olberman, Hannity or Beck - all of these people are for entertainment purposes.  They can give a person a topic but it is my belief that the individual needs to do his/her own research to achieve the truth.

For Compromise In Wisconsin - 3 GOP Senators Are Needed

NO! NO! NO!  If some of the Republicans are already looking to cave in on this then I will personally start the recall for their removal.  What would giving in to the union prove?  That the union can scare our representatives into doing their bidding?  Unions make up a small percentage of the workforce in this state and just because their well funded squeaky wheel is the loudest doesn't mean they are correct.  Our reps need to do what is right for the majority not for the biggest whiners!

WI Repair Bill Protest Enters 6th Day

Protests over the budget repair bill are heating up and it would appear that neither side is showing any signs of caving in.  For most of the week the bill's opposition has had the square around the capital all to themselves but today the bill's supporters got their chance to heard.
I have to commend both sides for being civil to each other.  It is always a circus in Madison but when you have a biker in a leather vest and chains carrying around a sign that says "Be civil - the nation is watching" how can you be anything but?
