Walker Concedes He's Made Mistakes

I don't know if I would call doing what you campaigned to do a mistake but he is entitled to his opinion.
Since becoming involved in politics if there is one thing I have learned is that it did not matter what methods he used to enact his policies because the Liberals/Progressives would have done
exactly what they did and are doing.  When you are a Liberal - have the biased media on your side - it would appear that you really never lose an election.  Just hold your breath and scream for a recall election.

Walker Phone Pranked Part 2

Koch Brothers Open Lobbying Office In Madison

The billionaire Koch brothers opened a lobbying office in downtown Madison.  It would be the timing of the office opening that has the old "stink-o-meter" red lining.  They opened the Madison office 2 days after Governor Walker was sworn in.
There is a little talked about provision in the budget repair bill that would allow the state government to sell off state owned power plants in no-bid contracts.  This would mean that the Koch Bros Industries would be able (along with any other private sector company) to buy power plants from the state.
If there are is any evidence of any favoritism or under the table dealings going on - then the governor should be investigated and charged with something.

WI $137 Million Deficit Real or Union Buster?

I stumbled on this story because of all the press from Rachel Maddow's claim that WI will have a surplus this year.  So I go back to the headline is the deficit real or just an excuse for Walker to bust the unions?  According to Politifact the WI $137million deficit is real and it is not being caused by Walker's corporate tax cuts.
I don't watch Maddow, Olberman, Hannity or Beck - all of these people are for entertainment purposes.  They can give a person a topic but it is my belief that the individual needs to do his/her own research to achieve the truth.

WI Repair Bill Protest Enters 6th Day

Protests over the budget repair bill are heating up and it would appear that neither side is showing any signs of caving in.  For most of the week the bill's opposition has had the square around the capital all to themselves but today the bill's supporters got their chance to heard.
I have to commend both sides for being civil to each other.  It is always a circus in Madison but when you have a biker in a leather vest and chains carrying around a sign that says "Be civil - the nation is watching" how can you be anything but?

Walker Names Gilkes As Chief Of Staff

Walker has named Keith Gilkes as his chief of staff.  Gilkes is the person that ran Walker's campaign and is a long time friend of the governor - elect.  If you would like to learn a little more about Walker's appointee - here is a little more info on Gilkes.

Barrett Doesn't Believe Most People In Wisconsin Know Who Mitt Romney Is

Barrett just doesn't get it.  The days when a career politician can call the voting public mis-informed and ignorant are quickly coming to an end.  I only hope he gets the message on November 2nd when he is forced to give his "Aw Shucks speech".

Look Who Does Not Want Walker As The Next Governor

It would appear that all of the major players in the Wisconsin Democratic party do not want Scott Walker as Barett's opposition in the November election.  The big unions and Doyle himself have been spending millions to keep Walker out of the race - on this alone he gets my endorsement for governor.

Walker Introduces Pension Reform Plan to Save Nearly $180 Million a Year

Unlike the other candidates for governor - Walker has come out and detailed his state pension reform plan.  I do not doubt that Scott is not very popular with state employees but when state pensions are eating up as much taxpayer money as they are - something has to be done.  The age of free government pensions is over.
