Walker Names Gilkes As Chief Of Staff

Walker has named Keith Gilkes as his chief of staff.  Gilkes is the person that ran Walker's campaign and is a long time friend of the governor - elect.  If you would like to learn a little more about Walker's appointee - here is a little more info on Gilkes.

Questions Raised About Pardon Panel’s Actions

The questions raised at the public session of the pardon panel weren't about the criminals that were being considered for pardon but were with the actions of Susan Crawford - who is Doyle's legal council.  Ms. Crawford waited until after the public meeting to record her deciding vote on 2 of the cases.  She claims it was because of illness that she did not vote on the 2 cases but she found the strength to cast other votes later in the meeting.
The Doyle corruption train is almost to the end.  January can't come fast enough.

Walker's transition director, John Hiller, responded: "The Madison-Milwaukee the train line is dead.
Wisconsin taxpayers will not be on the hook for multi-million-dollar ongoing operating subsidies because of Governor-elect Walker's efforts to stop this boondoggle."

Governor-elect Walker needs to remember why he was elected and a big part of it was the stopping of this taxpayer nightmare project.  Remember Mr. Walker - we are watching.

Clark County Judge Rules Conceal Carry Law Unconstitutional

Attorney William Poss made the motion to consider the Wisconsin conceal carry ban unconstitutional and thankfully Clark county Judge Jon Counsell agreed.  Poss says “It’s not a left or right type of thing quite frankly - it is a liberty thing".
