"Recall Walker" Chanted While He Signs Voter ID Bill Into Law

Around 50 protesters chanted "Recall Walker" as he signed the bill into law.  I have no doubt most of the 50 protesters were sufficiently pissed now that they probably can't vote in the recall elections later in the year.
Before anyone gets their underwear in a heap - my sarcasm was in reference to the immediate changes in absentee ballots - the ID part of the law does not kick in until next years elections so there is still a glimmer of hope that the unions and Liberals can pull off another miracle at the ballot boxes.

WI Passes Voter ID Bill

I would recommend that all of you read the statement released by Sen Scott Fitzgerald on his call for the Democratic representatives to grow up.
The Democrats have almost succeeded in taking away/over the government in WI - even after losing the balance of power in this state they have disrupted, ran and tied up laws with litigation until they get their way.  When are all of you out there going to say that we have seen enough of this crap!

With all of the posturing about how this law will disenfranchise the older voters I thought I would throw a link on here to show just how tough it is to get a state ID.
here is how you get one:

Supreme Court Election Recount Shocker!

The final results are in and the winner is................Prosser!  Wow!  Was that recount was worth the taxpayer cost of $260k (not including the 3 biggest counties)?

Oh but hold on there - this still isn't over.  Kloppenburg has until May 31st to file a court challenge, state law would require Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson (Kloppenburg's mentor) to name a reserve judge to hear the case. Geske said she expected Abrahamson and the reserve judge would both move swiftly, but even so, such a challenge would likely take months to resolve, particularly if it continued into the appeals process.
If a court challenge were filed and continued after Aug. 1, Prosser's seat would remain vacant until appeals were exhausted, according to Kelly and Haas, the Government Accountability Board lawyer.

Rep Nygren Receives Email From Peshtigo Teacher That He Forwards To Police

Here are the interesting facts of the case:
He wished that Nygren and Walker would get run over by a semi-truck.
He sent this through the Peshtigo School District email system.
He said he was intoxicated when he sent the email.
He told Nygren to quit sending the "Nygren Notes" news letter out - yet he had to subscribe to it to receive it in the first place.

Have no fear you teacher's union lovers out there - so far his only punishment is that he has been placed on PAID administrative leave.  (For people in the private sector that is known as VACATION.)

His punishment will be decided in a special closed session meeting with the school board and his union representative.

Taxpayer Cost For Fleebagging Protests

The damage estimate of $270k to the capital is much lower than the original estimate of $7.5 million.  You can click here if you want to see the repair report.  I didn't see anywhere in the report what the procedure for getting rid of the smell of petruli and b/o was but let's hope it is not much more than a few hundred plug in Glade air fresheners.
The one bill that will be picked up by the taxpayers that should chap everyone's a$$ is the $8 million in security cost.  It is my opinion that this cost should be picked by the Democratic campaign fund.

Oshkosh Teachers Guaranteed 90 Sick Days Per Contracted Year

Oh yes - you read the title correctly - 90 sick days for every contracted year.  I guess I should use the terms they use - income protection - but it is under the "sick leave" article 20 of the collective bargaining agreement.

A Sample Of The Hypocrisy Of Union Head Marty Beil

I am not sure if all of you are aware of the so called union supported "boycott" going on.  What is the "boycott"?  The union members and their supporters that refuse to buy products made by companies/corporations that support Governor Walker.  In fact, the unions have gone so far as to break the package tampering laws by placing stickers on products they deem anti-union.  I have included a picture of the local grocer's response.
Here are a couple of letters to a Madison talk show host about what was seen at the Relay for Life charity cookout on May 6th, 2011 - concerning union head Marty Beil.  It would appear that Marty subscribes to the old saying "Do as I say - not as I do".
