For those of you that did not hear what is going on in Wausau here is the run down. A county labor official said that no Republicans would be allowed to walk in the upcoming parade because they voted for Scott Walker's union busting legislation.
The mayor of Wausau said that if the labor unions did not want Republicans in the parade then the labor leaders must pay the $2000 it takes to fund the event. Is there anyone out there that doesn't feel these union representatives are not complete dousche bags?

Union Protesters At Choice School
Scott Walker wasn't the only one to visit Messmer Preparatory Catholic School but he was the only one there to read to the students. Messmer Preparatory Catholic School is a choice school - which means that the teacher's union does not think highly of it. Why would they like a school that has 85% of its graduates go on to college?
I'm not even going to bring up the vandalism (not done by the union - wink wink)
Watch the video and pay attention around the 1 minute mark for the protester running into Brother Bob. The ole intimidation technique........it doesn't work. When are these assholes going to realize that the old union ways don't work anymore. You people are a joke!

That Damn Walker - How Dare He Save Taxpayers Money!
When Governor Walker signed the budget bill into law - it limited collective bargaining rights for government unions and in this posting I'm focusing on the teacher's union.
The Kaukauna School District's agreement with the teachers union required the school district to purchase health insurance coverage from something called WEA Trust -- a company created by the Wisconsin teachers union. As stated above - per the collective bargain agreement the school district could not shop WEA's price - this year, WEA Trust told Kaukauna that it would face a significant increase in premiums but because Kaukauna did not rush to sign a new agreement with the teacher's union - electing instead to see what the new law would do for them - they were able to shop the cost of insurance.
This is probably going to come as a shock to many of you but the WEA Trust has been sticking it to the school district, taxpayers and ultimately the little kids (because as the union tells us, CONSTANTLY, it really is all about the kids) for years. To those of you who were shocked from the above sentence this may give you a stroke - WEA Trust said they would match the low bid to remain the insurance provider.
The Kaukauna School District has decided to stay with WEA Trust for now and I'm going to head off any Liberals reading this posting.........I'm sure that this is the only school district in the state that the union really doesn't care about the little kids.

WI State Journal Sues Madison School District Over Failure To Release List Of Sick Teachers
The newspaper is saying that the school district broke the law by not releasing the names of the teachers that skipped out of doing their jobs to go to the capital to protest.
The fact that someone is demanding the release of the names is not a surprise - what is the surprise is that the Liberal rag from Madison is doing it.

Oshkosh Teachers Guaranteed 90 Sick Days Per Contracted Year
Oh yes - you read the title correctly - 90 sick days for every contracted year. I guess I should use the terms they use - income protection - but it is under the "sick leave" article 20 of the collective bargaining agreement.
A Sample Of The Hypocrisy Of Union Head Marty Beil
I am not sure if all of you are aware of the so called union supported "boycott" going on. What is the "boycott"? The union members and their supporters that refuse to buy products made by companies/corporations that support Governor Walker. In fact, the unions have gone so far as to break the package tampering laws by placing stickers on products they deem anti-union. I have included a picture of the local grocer's response.
Here are a couple of letters to a Madison talk show host about what was seen at the Relay for Life charity cookout on May 6th, 2011 - concerning union head Marty Beil. It would appear that Marty subscribes to the old saying "Do as I say - not as I do".

84 Madison Teachers Submitted Fraudulent Sick Notes To Protest
The Madison school district held off releasing the number of teachers until after April 15th - this was the deadline to resind their absence excuses - 46 resinded their excuses.
What became of the 38 the did not? They were suspended but the actual protest absence was considered time served.
It remains my opinion that they should have been fired!

Union Supporter Heckles 14 Year Old Girl Giving Speech
Freedom of speech is only a right when you agree with the Liberals. You have to admit it isn't everyone that can throw f-bombs and the finger at a 14 year old girl reading an essay at a Tea Party rally. He does it with such enthusiasm.
Kloppenburg Wants A Recount
If there were any stragglers out there that believed Kloppenburg was a legitimate candidate for WI Supreme Court and not in the pocket of the union - after today's statement - you should now have your feet firmly placed in reality. I would have posted a video of her recount request but I can't stand listening to her so I exercised my right as the blog writer to abstain.
She was not a qualified candidate so what platform did she run on? She politicized the race and she would be the voice of the working family. If you needed any more proof that she was and is in the pocket of the big unions you need to look no further that her requesting a recount at the taxpayer's expense.
I read an article, written before today's recount request, that says this recount could cost the taxpayers of WI more than $1 million. Just another example of the Liberals losing then holding their collective breath and throwing a tantrum..........pathetic.
I do not have the link to the article now but I will place it in the comments section.

Janesville Unions Protest Walker Speech 03-29-2011
Last night we attended the Liberal - union protest outside of Janesville's Holiday Inn Express. It was good to see that all of the unions were represented - UAW, IBEW, Teacher's Union and Teamsters. The Teamsters were nice enough to bring a semi-trailer with protest signs - so that this "real grass roots movement" didn't have to make them on their own.
Why the protest you ask? Governor Walker gave a speech at the Forward Janesville annual dinner. Why did we go? My girlfriend and I have seen so many of the signs protesting the removal of worker's rights and stop the war on state workers - we were interested in finding out (from a protesting union Liberal) what the definition of a state worker is. I wanted a good, honest, well thought out answer so I found a gentlemen wearing a UAW t-shirt holding and a 'stop the war on state workers' sign.
Here is a small sample of the conversation:

West DePere Union Head Ousted For Not Being Radical Enough
Here is the resigning union head Stu Betts' letter to fellow WDPEA members announcing the new union head.
The letter makes me believe that Stu was entirely too level headed to be union leader.

Janesville Teacher's Union Says No To Contract Concessions
The Janesville teacher's union has said "no" once again to contract concessions. They are going to come up with a plan to save the district money but they won't put it in writing - we should trust them.
All the Janesville residents don't fret - they can always raise property taxes again! My suggestion is that they fire all of them and bring in some new teachers!

Unions Are Asked To Boycott The Businesses That Support Walker
Here is the info the government unions are getting out to their members. Any business that is considered a major contributor to Walker will either publicly denounce Walker and his bill or the unions will boycott their business. Apparently, giving anyone that type of ultimatum is only extortion in the movies.

Sen. Tim Cullen Wants Amendment To Stop Fleeing Legislators
You read it correctly people! One of the fleebagging jack-wagons wants to make sure a method of avoiding a vote (which is technically legal) can only be used by Democrats.
Although he and the other 13 fleebaggers are being considered (and consider themselves) big government union heroes - he doesn't want the Republicans to use the same tactic if the Liberals regain the majority in the next election. It would seem to me that the only reason to change a tactic that is legal and acceptable is because they can't wash the stink off of themselves for doing it.
An amendment to the state's constitution must be passed by 2 consecutive legislatures. I hope the taxpayers in this state are smart enough to keep the Liberals in their place - the minority!

Apparently It Is All About The Children
These are the people educating today's youth. I was looking for a poor little kid in a wheelchair made from a discarded lawnchair but it would appear that the teacher's union hasn't quite gotten down to that level yet. I would have asked all of the kids to explain to me who Scott Walker is and why he has to go. Oh - that's right with the sh!tty state of public education they wouldn't have been able to get the kids to learn it in time anyway.

Teachers Worth The $125k They EARN
I know there are a few shockers in this posting.
1. CBS ran this on 60 minutes and it does not support the union philosophy of teaching.
2. That there are teachers worth a $125k salary.
3. That teachers can earn that pay with the public funding that the school receives.

WEAC Extortion Letter To Fox Valley Business Community
The Fox Valley Chapter of Wisconsin Education Association Council made their extortion attempt in a letter to about 1,400 members of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The letter didn't really have the desired response they were hoping for. The article has comments from one business man that would mirror mine - "WEAC leads me to believe if I don't sign their pledge to support collective bargaining they would take action to prevent teachers from supporting my business, and that seems unfortunate,"
The government unions seem to not understand that the more they keep themselves in the news - the more the public is getting to see just what they really are.

Unions Give M&I Ultimatum
Is it not lovely that the the first signature on the extortion letter to M&I is James L. Palmer, Executive Director Wisconsin Professional Police Association - the lobbyist for the police. As if their actions during the protests didn't show to whom their allegiance lies - this letter makes it official.

Walker's Donors Being Boycotted
In the latest attempt to hurt Madison businesses (because we know that their view point is the only view point) - union whinners continue their mob mentality and go after M&I bank. M&I received TARP money and donated money to Walker's campaign so 2 union workers walked into the bank and withdrew $192,000 dollars on the spot. They say they will hit the GOP where it hurts - in the pocket book.
Union workers, the little people, the right and just - how may of you out there can walk into the bank right now and withdraw $81,000 (making an assumption that each union person pulled half the above total)? It would appear that they are making way more than the people paying them.

Ever Wonder About Madison Teachers Retirement Package?
I wondered just exactly what they have collectively bargained for over the years and without further ado here it is.
I personally found pages 4 & 7 the most interesting.
